APAC offers Competition Dance teams for various levels and age groups. Since we opened our school back in 1988, we have had NATIONAL AWARD WINNERS each and every year. We attend 3-4 competition events each year, and a National Event each summer.

Our APAC Dance Team has traveled to NYC to study as a group. We were invited in 1997 to be featured performers at the Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary Celebrations.

Dancers for the APAC Dance Team are selected through and audition process each spring. They are involved in a dance intensive workshop at APAC each summer to prepare for the upcoming seasons. APAC Dancers are eligible to audition for the Team when they have completed at least one full year of study at APAC, and are in Level III or higher and are at least 7 years of age.

APAC Dance Team members are also eligible to perform solos, duets and trio dances in addition to Large and Small group routines at competition, and at our yearly Spring Concert.

Competition Dancing gives the performer a venue to perform, and allows the dancer to feel they are part of a team. It instills in each member the discipline that goes along with being a member of a team. It also is an opportunity to be involved with something these young dancers are passionate about. It keeps their young minds focused on a positive outlet, and keeps them VERY BUSY! Each dancer has the opportunity to gain life long memories and friends. The first team at APAC from back in the 80's still hold regular reunions and are sure to visit with Ms. Paula whenever they are in town.
